An obligation to take action against evil
It is reported that on the authority of abu saeed al khudri that he heard allah’s messenger say: if any one of you sees something hateful or evil, he should change it with his hand. If he is unable to do so, then he should denounce it with his tongue. If he is unable to do so then he should denounce it in his heart and that is the weakest kind of faith.( mulim)
Allah’s messenger relates that it is incumbent upon anyone who sees something evil or forbidden to take action to stop it, if he or she is able to do so. If the situation does not permit us to stop the evil, then we should speak out against out against it.We are unable to do even this, then we should hate the evil in our hearts, but we should know that it is a sign of weak faith not to act against.
