Covering the shame
Covering the shame (عورة)
The covering of shame is one of the essential conditions for performing Salat (though in privacy). It is obligatory out of Salat also. But it is permissible to reveal in privacy if needed. And it is forbidden to look into other’s shame and it is undesirable to look into one’s own without any reason out of Salat. And if he looks into his own shame in Salat it will be invalidated.
The shame of male in and out of Salat is all the things in between the knee and navel. But at privacy only the two openings need to be covered. The shame of bond-maid in Salat is that of the male. And for the free woman in Salat the shame is all the parts of the body other than the face and the forearms. But the Aurat for the free and slave women near the strangers is whole the body and near the relatives and in the privacy it is what is between knee and navel. And near the unbeliever females the parts which are covered at the time of her regular homely works is considered to be Aurat for both the free and slave women.
So each one should cover with a dress (which will not define the color of the skin) from the top and sides of the body. The dress which will define the shape is not desirable for the male and undesirable for others
