Ummarshajiek is right in his opinion that whenever we call anything Haram or Sunna or Shirk or Kufr there should be proof from the authorities. And another thing is that the caroms playing has no any positive side. It is only a waste of time. For a real Muslim such a playing is not good. It should be disencouraged. Moreover some times the players are betting. And in such a case it cleary forbidden.

Openions are like two sides of a coin. There will be only head and tail. Like that carroms can be played or cannot be. However, somebody must project the proofs and records to show that "for a muslim carrom is haraam or karahath". That is how discussions must proceed. |

caroms playing is not a good habit.I think one who is playing caroms we can consider him guilty.Because it's not a habit of a Muslim.In my opinion caroms should be banned. |
