Cutting off the hand of the professor not Islamic

The cruelty done by some people with vested interests by cutting off the hand of a professor at Thodupuzha can only be seen as a reason for the creation of terrorism between Muslims and Christians. Actually the deed done by the professor is injustice. He tried to abuse Prophet Muhammad(s), the most respectful and honourable person of Muslims. How the followers of The Prophet(s), who taught the humankind to prevent the false hood by truth, can cut off the hand of a person who tried to abuse prophet(s).The past history of Islam reveals a wide description of forgiveness given by prophet(s) to those persons who attacked him mentally and physically. Actually cutting the hand of the criminal professor is nothing but a cruelty to Prophet(s).

                         The inspiration behind this cruelty against this professor is derived from the vested interest of some modern thinkers. They aim:-

             a) To gain the support of Muslims by attacking those who tried to abuse Prophet(s)

             b) Criminals caught behind this activity are the followers of Popular Front, who wants the political help of Muslims.

            Actually their activities are against the teachings and principles of Holy Religion Islam. What was the concept of Islam and |The Prophet(s) with their enemies.

           a) There was a lady at Makkah, who had the habit of throwing waste materials and other unwanted things to the body of The Prophet(s). But one day prophet (s) was informed her absence in the path. The Prophet(s) sought the reason for her absence,  and when it is  revealed that she is suffering from illness prophet(s) visited her and prayed for her.

           b) Makkah has come under the rule of Muslim Kingdom. All the enemies including those who tried to kill prophet (s) were imprisoned. They were afraid by thinking the revenge they would get from the Muslim leaders. But The Prophet (s) told them "You can go, you are free, and there is no revenge upon you today".

           c) Prophet(s) saw a crowd bearing the dead body of a person who belonged to Judaism. Prophet(s) stood at that time respecting the human dead body and taught the followers to respect the human body irrespective of any caste or creed.

            Islamic history reveals these types of Prophetic teachings, forgiving enemies and respecting the duties of other religions. The happenings that occurred at Thodupuzha is against the real principles and teachings of Islam.
