The confession of America

The confession of America: A good sign of change. But………..

Abu Tasneem

In his first interview to a Channel with the name Al Arabia (the channel is Arabian in language and likely is not in culture and opinions) Barack Obama confessed that America had done many mistakes in the past. This confession seems at present to be a good sign of change the new US president promised to the world. The confession is a good thing before every repentance and atonement. And they are to come from the deep mind if the harm is done to God alone. But in the case of USA, as the crime is committed to the whole Muslim world and whole humanity, the people firstly want to know what the mistakes done by USA in the past are.

So please, Obama, if you are committed to your words it is high time to list out some (not all, because it may risk you) of the atrocities done by your predecessors against the Muslims in particular and against the humanity in general.

We appreciate your readiness to change the world. But firstly you have to change yourself. I am compelled to say this because sometimes your changed words seem to be utterly unchanged to the ears, like the words you used when you were interviewed by a private channel.

As to the security of Israel, it is your paramount interest. But you did not show the courage to reproach the indiscriminate atrocities of Israel over Palestinian civilians (and let’s forget Hamas, as the world forgot, because they are not legitimate human beings for they questioned the aggressor Israel). This indicates that you cannot stick by the promises you have given to the world.

And if you are not ready to give the respect (with the same sense you meant) to Hamas, and the like people, what is the meaning of change? It is known to everyone that you need not to change your approach to the Kings of KSA, Kuwait, and the present rulers of Iraq, Egypt and Afghanistan.
